Visualizing clinical data
Sharing clinical insight and fortifying key relationships
Client
Global biopharma
Overview
A global biopharma company wanted to promote recently published clinical studies available to specialists treating rare diseases; and they were looking to empower their sales teams with high-value engagement tools. Cramer Health helped translate clinical research into more digestible overviews through animation.
The Situation
Specialists want to keep up with the latest research, but they don’t often have time to read lengthy publications. Our client was looking to create something that helped clinicians get a summary that preserved the rigor of the data—study design, methods, and analysis—while packaging it in a format that was digestible, credible, and easy to distribute.
The Strategy
Promote research and give clinicians a solid understanding of analysis and conclusions
Our team of medical writers and design specialists worked together to develop a visual format that supported the content and audience needs. The team employed data visualization techniques to simplify complicated research, allowing the video to present multiple layers of data simultaneously without becoming too dense. The videos strategically balanced voiceover and visuals to bring study results to life, turning complex publications into an engaging narrative.
The Solution
To keep the summaries relatively short and impactful, final videos were less than five minutes. The use for these videos supported a global initiative – but assets needed to be readied for sales teams working in specific markets with their own regulatory and compliance demands.
To support the initiative, Cramer Health developed videos that supported key global markets; and made video assets and source files available so that videos could also easily be localized based on that market’s need. The result? A global initiative that supported multiple audiences: the client’s sales reps, clinicians, and ultimately the patients they serve.
